Aled trained at Trinity College, Carmarthen. He has toured extensively throughout the UK and Ireland, with various theatre companies such as Sherman Cymru, Theatr Iolo, Gwent Theatre, Theatr na n'Og. Film highlights include 'The Bank Loaner' for Screen Academy Wales and he played 'Bennett' the Welsh goalkeeper in the film 'The Final' which also starred David Schaal (BBC's The Office, E4's Inbetweeners) and Chris Jury (BBC's Lovejoy) which was released to coincide with the 2011 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.
